lectoreeeeees Hello:)
happiness That we are already 800 in the blog ^ ^
really Thanks, without you this blog would be nothing at all.
With all my happiness, I write this review I've been waiting days to post. This is nothing more and nothing less than Benjamin, the first novel by Argentine Federico Axat . And do not miss the Saturday we detail an interview with the author and a quiz for everyone:)
Little Ben, a nine-year-old disappeared from his home after angry with his parents, and nobody can justify it. In the forests of Carnival Falls, a few miles only find a trace: the abandoned bicycle ... From here begins a desperate search for the family and police found no body.
As the days pass, all are resigned to believe that the child is dead, but the mystery of his disappearance is far from resolved, especially in the time cryptic messages start appearing anonymous ...
Really Ben has died, or threatens to everyone from corner? What terrible secrets come to light from now?
Fear is transformed
in terror when
hidden in the bowels of home.
The story begins with the question, What do your loved ones when they are alone? And from there, "Benjamin" gets you. Long ago I read a horror novel genre, I must admit that I was reminded Axat Federico
my time reading in the sheet of Stephen King novels, why? Well, Ben is angry, very angry with her selfish mother, and like any boy his age do you plan to go away, running away from home. After thinking decides to go and hide in the attic, will give a lesson to his mother and then exits. However, since hiding in the attic, he decides that life is not so bad there. He will stay there forever.
And though at first they do all the search-and everyone is convinced that Ben will come out sooner or later, after some days begin to think that maybe after all Ben is dead. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO that big mistake, because Ben is hiding in the attic, and better than that: you can see everyone. Watch every move, hear every conversation and watch every moment at home, waiting for the right moment for revenge.
In "Benjamin" the author recalls the ghosts of the past, combined with the more sinister may have a small nine years and brings a novel truly terrifying. torture for the inhabitants of the house, who did not even imagine what mind sinister and vindictive lies behind the message that torture to uncover its deepest secrets.
A great job, I'd say. Ben takes us out to meet different characters, and other pages, the author offers insight into the lives of those surrounding Ben. Mike, Rosalie, Ralph, Matt, Andrea, Danna ... each with clearly defined personalities, and a touch of intrigue. And throughout the book everyone seems to end up as puppets in a macabre game of Ben.
Finally, I am delighted that we have perfect flashbacks in the book, wonderfully adapted to the context and overall I enjoyed the book from first page to last, with a shiver travels whenever the back, and a hungry look to each chapter.
If they are fans of horror and suspense, and does not give one iota of fear will find out what Benjamin through the pages, this reading is perfect for you.
readers Besos! And do not miss the track no later than Saturday will be interviewed by Federico Axat + Competition to win this book.
