I think we had the opportunity to manage SQL Server we had to lidear our mental retention for the name and I think many times insurance and if not "very often" we forget the name of the table, field, store procedure, view, schema, etc etc. .. Well, now SQL Server 2008 that comes with Intellisense we like our friend both Visual Studio.
Now in SQL Server Management Studio only must click on the icon of Intellisense as shown in the image below, besides that we can see that in this case we're doing a simple SQL, the legend also appears to us indicating which type the fact is, if PK, if you accept NULL

Another thing you should know is that if you do not appear as options reciencreadas simply must refresh the cache of Intellisense or what you will hear from now on as "Refreshing the IntelliSense

Cache "ESOT

for two very simple ways to do it and these are:

1) in the Manu we

Edit

\\ IntelliSense \\ Local Cache Update

2) to do keys Ctrl + Shift + R

But you ll be good only for tables and fields .. they do not! IntelliSense also lends us a hand with the local variable @ use with T-SQL as the small ejemplito I show in this picture with

@ Last

,

@ Name, @ ID also have a support gives us the Promt Automatic for the type parameters and functions returning

Another thing the IntelliSense in SQL Server 2008 will be useful is the time to use Stored Procedures or Procedures Store as we see in the image below indicates the parameters that must be entered and the type of the same, what which prevents us open the Stored Procedure to check that parameters are needed.

Finally as a summary we can say that IntelliSense will be helpful to us from now on and save us all a long time and because the only thing we have to say is thanks to the folks in Redmond to hear whether our suggestions sometimes mere whims needs or other .. hehe
